This year has been a great successful year. I’ve achieved many of my goals like by running a lot as an after school workout for 30. My beep test score has kept increasing each time and my goal is to make it to 10 or at least 9.5 on the beep test by the end of the year. My last beep test score was 8.3 and the one before that was 7.4 so I am improving a lot. I also try to do a lot of core exercise so I can get more fit. I try to workout at least 3 times a week. I do other activities to get my speed up like biking. Cardio workout also helps me train as well. I do things like lunges, sit ups, high knees, push-ups, squats, and etc. On top of that to keep me balanced and healthy I have to eat healthy food and drink lots of water. I stay away from junk food cause then all your hard work just goes down the drain. I am trying my hardest and improve and participate.  I have also tried to keep my blog updated as much as I can. It is mostly of my workouts because I think my fitness explains itself. Like you see me after the beep test or any fitness day I am always tomato red and hot, I also get really sweaty. On fitness days you can see me so I don’t have to prove anything but at home its easy to make up lies so I give evidence. I keep track of my beep test scores and my running distance to see improve. But I also do other activities that get my heart rate up like shoot hoops. I always try to push myself harder because I am dedicated. This is only going to benefit me getting an A wouldn’t matter.  My health also counts too because I have very low iron like extremely below average it makes it harder for me to do some activities because I get tired really fast.  I also have asthma which isn’t that bad right now but I still be aware. I know I have improved extremely since last year, because now I’m doing this for me not my grade.  Im obviously not perfect so I cant do great at everything but I always give my 100 %.

Four words to describe my performance this year:
-   dedicated (I was determined)
-   best  (I tried my best)
- pusher    (I pushed myself to the end)
- strong (I went all out)

1.       Participation.

Attendance: I have always come to but I have been sick I think once or twice. And I come prepared; I bring positivity to the class. I always try to motivate my friends and people around me. I try helping out and cleaning up when I can.

Wearing gym strip & actually changing clothes at the end of class: I do wear my gym strip but I don’t usually change at the end of class. I mostly just change my shirt because I get really sweaty sometimes.

Intensity of participation: I am always ready to do whatever we have to do in gym, even if I do not like the activity or I am not good. I will still participate and try. I have never sat out or given up.

Skill level in various games: My skill level depends on what I play because everyone has their own experiences. For example basketball my skill level is high because I have played it almost my whole life. Other games like dodge ball and hand ball I try to use strategies over experience. Its all about where you place yourself and the risks you take.

Factors that influence work ethic and effort: I am motivated because this year I want it for myself. I want to be fit, healthy and skinny. Those reasons are why I try harder each time, run a little faster, go a little longer.

Motivation behind your selection of activities on choice days: I personally don’t like choice it is probably the only thing I hate having in p.e just because not everyone tries or does it so it isn’t fun. I usually select something based on my mood like if I feel like having a good run I choose basketball but if I feel like working out and building some muscle I pick weight room.

2. Social Responsibility and Contributions to the class:

Leadership (organizing others, encouraging peers): I always push my friends and peers to try even if they don’t want too. Like on fitness days my friends and I set goals so we achieve something. We try to avoid stopping because once you stop, you just can’t bring yourself to start again. But I always push myself.

Examples of initiative (helping with equipment, helping with other classes without being asked to): I try to clean up equipment but I don’t really do it often. When I do I usually have the cones or pinnies.  That is one of my new goals to help out more because I don’t as much.

Positive energy and social energy during activities: I never bring negative energy to the class, my peers or myself because it makes the activity even harder. I stay away from that, I try to bring positive energy instead. I try to motivate my friends.

Honesty during competition and on fitness scores: I don’t lie about my fitness score because its not worth it. I’m only cheating myself, because fitness is for your own benefit. I tell the truth even if it’s disappointing, because either I have achieved something or learned a new lesson for a better performance next time.

3.Healthy Living:

Your actual fitness scores and what they teach you: My fitness scores determine if im lazy or not as well as fit and healthy. This is why I run and eat healthy because all of these little details add up to make a final score.

Noteworthy changes in fitness:  my beep test scores determines my changes because that’s my main goal I train for. Last year in june my score was 6.7. the first beep test we did this year I got 7.4 then the second one we did I got 8.3. so I am improving and my fitness level is increasing im really proud of myself. My next goal is to get in the range of 9.1 to 10.

Barriers/limitations you face in participating: There is no reason for me not to participate, and I am a hard working student so I don’t make excuses. There was one time I didn’t do fitness which was because I felt really dizzy and my stomach hurt a lot, I could barely walk without feeling like I was going to fall but I came to school because I had 2 very important unit tests that I had to do. So for that fitness I just rode the bicycle and stretched.

Dietary choices, extra curricular activity choices and their impact on overall health: Basketball I used to play basketball outside of school and im planning on joining again.

Injury prevention, management and rehabilitation: none

4. Digital Portfolio and Reflective Skills:
I have about 12 posts and it may not seem like a lot but it’s because I left most fitness days out because you saw me so you know how hard I worked. But I think I should of added it because I could right about how I feel, what I did and what parts of my body are sore. But the evidence I do have speaks for itself. I have added my goals plans and results. But I think I should try some videos as well. I got a comment saying I should try helping clean up more often and I am working on that right now.
